ELIMI-NP

Carbon dosing concentrate for nitrate and phosphate reduction

Product description

Carbon dosing concentrate for effective reduction of nitrates and phosphates. Suitable for all saltwater aquariums with increased phosphate concentration and a low nitratephosphate ratio, as frequently observed in reef aquariums with a calcium reactor.

Benefits

  • efficient reduction of nitrate and phosphate in the reef aquarium

  • designed specifically for reef aquariums with coral calcium reactor; but is suitable for all aquariums with an increased concentration of phosphate and a low nitrate / phosphate ratio

  • suitable for an aquarium stocked with marine fish, soft corals, LPS, SPS, other filter feeders and/or crustaceans

  • easy-to-dose liquid solution

Ingredients:

Polyalcohols

Application & Dosage

Begin with a daily dose of 0.1 ml per 100 l (26 USgal) of aquarium system volume and increase the dosage after 2 weeks, observing the animals and checking the nitrate and phosphate concentrations, by 0.1 ml per 100 l (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume. Dose Tropic Marin® Elimi-NP into the flow of the pump to ensure proper distribution throughout the aquarium.

A daily dose of 0.5 ml per 100 l (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume should not be exceeded. The concentration of phosphate in the reef aquarium should only be lowered slowly to avoid possible adjustment stress in the organisms. At the same time, the nitrate-phosphate ratio should not exceed 10:1.

We recommend the use of Tropic Marin® Elimi-NP at phosphate concentrations above 0.1 mg / l. At lower phosphate concentrations, we recommend the use of Tropic Marin® NP-Bacto-Balance.
With a nitrate-phosphate ratio greater than 10:1, we recommend the use of Tropic Marin® NP-Bacto-Balance rather than Tropic Marin® Elimi-NP, to best adjust the nutrient concentrations.

Using the 50 ml bottle: Attach the enclosed hose to the syringe and measure the desired amount of Tropic Marin® Elimi-NP with the syringe. The air that gets into the hose and syringe while pulling the syringe, does not affect the dosage. The bottom edge of the plunger always displays the correct dosing amount even if the desired quantity Tropic Marin® Elimi-NP, due to the air drawn in, is only in the hose and not in the syringe chamber. The air drawn in serves to empty the hose during dosing.

Using the 200 ml bottle: Turn the pump head counterclockwise to unlock it. Pressing the pump head once is equivalent to 1 ml.
